 Vision Statement:

Children can joyfully embrace their childhood, while developing their full potential as individuals, in an inspiring learning environment.

Seething and Mundham is a community maintained primary school in the village of Seething in South Norfolk. We are a small school, located in a lovely modern building (we opened in 2010) on the site of the historic village school. This blend of the traditional and the new reflects the type of school we are – forward looking but rooted in our community.

Our school is a happy one, where we celebrate individuals and everyone is respected and valued. We pride ourselves on creating a happy, friendly, and nurturing environment in which children can learn and develop confidently, thus enabling them to reach their full potential. We expect the best that is possible from our pupils and encourage them not only in academic progress, but also in caring for each other and the natural world around them. All our children are encouraged to become responsible, global citizens who appreciate the needs of others and have a strong sense of personal self-esteem and confidence and a love of nature.

We have four classes – Bittern, Harriers, Kestrels and Hawks – that cover reception to year six. Please take a look at the class pages (the links are at the top of this page) to find out more about what is happening in each class. Our Forest School is also incredibly important to life at Seething and Mundham School – we think it is something really special that will help your child enjoy and achieve.

We are continually looking to develop this website so it is more helpful to current and prospective families and pupils. Do let us know if you have any suggestions.
